Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
LifeAxis ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. What information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate and improve LifeAxis.
This may include:
- Account information (such as name, email address, and login details)
- Information you choose to store in LifeAxis (documents, notes, tasks, financial data, etc.)
- Usage data (such as page visits, navigation events, and selected feature interactions within the platform)
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device information)
We do not sell your personal data.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the LifeAxis platform
- Secure your account and data
- Improve features and performance
- Communicate with you about your account or important updates
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
Your data is processed only for legitimate purposes related to providing the service.
We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to better understand how the LifeAxis platform is used. This data is processed in an aggregated and anonymised form where possible and is only collected with your consent.
We also record limited in-product activity events for authenticated users, such as page views, section navigation, and selected creation actions, to help us understand engagement, support the service, and identify inactive accounts. These events are linked to your pseudonymised owner key within our application database, are not used for advertising, and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
We rely on our legitimate interests as the lawful basis for this processing (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), specifically our interest in understanding how the platform is used, improving the service, and managing account activity. This processing is proportionate, limited to what is necessary, and does not override your rights and interests. You have the right to object to this processing at any time by contacting us at hello@lifeaxis.co.uk.
3. How your data is stored and protected
- Data is stored securely using trusted infrastructure providers
- Sensitive data may be encrypted
- Access controls are used to prevent unauthorised access
- We regularly review our security practices
While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information.
4. Sharing your data
We only share your data when necessary:
- With service providers who help operate LifeAxis (such as hosting, authentication, and storage)
- When required by law or regulation
We never share your data for advertising purposes.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Export your data where applicable
You can manage most of this directly within LifeAxis or by contacting us.
6. Cookies
LifeAxis uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the platform works correctly and securely.
Some product activity data is recorded server-side and does not rely on analytics cookies. Where cookies are used for optional analytics tooling, we ask for consent first.
More details are available in our Cookie Policy.
7. Google API disclosure
If you choose to connect Google services to LifeAxis, we only access the Google user data needed to provide the features you enable inside your account.
For Google Drive, this means document storage and related document management features. We only access files in your Google Drive that were created by LifeAxis. We cannot access or read any other files in your Drive. For Google Calendar sync, this means retrieving calendar and event information such as calendar names, event titles, descriptions, locations, start and end times, all-day status, event status, and links to the original Google Calendar event so that your schedule can be displayed inside LifeAxis.
Our app's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalised AI or machine learning models, and we do not use that data for advertising. We only use Google Calendar data to provide calendar synchronisation and in-app schedule views requested by you.
Google Calendar data is retained only for as long as your Google Calendar integration is active. If you disconnect your Google account, your synced calendar data is deleted from LifeAxis within 30 days. Google Drive files created by LifeAxis remain in your Google Drive and are under your control; we do not retain copies beyond what is needed to display them within the app.
